The archaeological sites of the Neolithic period were discovered in Malaysia amounted to more than a hundred sites. Most of the site consists of caves or protective cave complex located in a limestone hill. Sometimes Neolithic sites were also discovered by accident in the river or at the mine site.
Study on sites that have produced evidence of the existence of the Neolithic period in Malaysia as early as 4,000 years ago. Archaeologists at the sites have also revealed various Neolithic cultural artifacts and produce a lot of information, data and meaningful contribution to the understanding of the country and Southeast Asian prehistory
